It was undergrad school, trying to determine my purpose when I started on my self care journey. It led me to navigating and education in varying types of self care.
I still felt like I didn’t know how to incorporate self care into my life. I was left comparing myself to others and I was fed up. This is when I decided that self care didn’t have to be some overwhelming thing.
Being a wife, mom to a little human, drinkin’ tea, contributing to the wellbeing of future generations.
What can we probably find you doing on a daily basis in your life/brand/business?
When the people I work with meet and surpass their self care goals.
What cheers you up about the work you do?
Grateful that more people are stepping into their power and bringing us to a place of collective self care flourishing.
What are you grateful for in your industry?
A client is able to maintain a self care routine for themselves, stay motivated through internal accountability and live a damn good life.
What says your job is done?
Knowing that what I am doing is a shift toward generational well being.
What empowers you to perservere?
Good food, music, Family and Caribbean culture.
Rise with baby; make the bed, head to my altar for a little gratitude, breakfast, play time with baby.
Varies from day to day, but now that I’m a mom it’s working through naps and after baby goes to bed.
Travel to all the continents at least once. So far I’m at 4/7
